Please join us on Tuesday, October 25 from 7 to 9 PM in Noble 130 for an evening of lively and insightful discussion on the significance of the Common Reading Experience 2016-17 selection, Craig Childs’ Apocalyptic Planet: Field Guide to the Everending Earth. Panelists will explore Childs’ book from the perspectives of the environment and biodiversity, international security, socio-economic impacts, the global food market, and a clean energy future. This is sure to be an exciting evening of investigation into climate change in our time.

This year the Reed library is offering extended hours for 10 days instead of the previous three days during Final Exams. We’ll be open until midnight for eight days during the last week of classes and Finals Week, with study break activities most nights at 7:00 p.m. In addition, the Fishbowl is open 24/7.
