- Physics Reference Data: National Institute for Standards (NIST) - The Physics Laboratory is one of the major operating units of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Its mission is to support United States industry by providing measurement services and research for electronic, optical, and radiation technologies.
- Physics: at The WWW Virtual Library. The WWW Virtual Library (VL) is the oldest catalogue of the Web, started by Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of HTML and of the Web itself, in 1991 at CERN in Geneva. Unlike commercial catalogues, it is run by a loose confederation of volunteers, who compile pages of key links for particular areas in which they are expert; even though it isn't the biggest index of the Web, the VL pages are widely recognised as being amongst the highest-quality guides to particular sections of the Web.
- Physics: from BUBL LINK; a catalogue of physics resources, based at the The Centre for Digital Library Research (CDLR) University of Strathclyde (UK).
- PSIgate: a free service that offers access to high quality Web resources in the physical sciences; based at The University of Manchester and Heriot-Watt University.
- Jim Martindale's Virtual Physics Center - Physics Online Reference Desk.
- DMOZ Physics: Directory of Physics links from The Open Directory Project
