The following are databases are available through the FLC network. Clicking on a link will bring you to the Databases by Subject, then click on Sciences to obtain the list of science resources. To access off campus you will need your name and student ID as registered with the library.

  • Academic Search on Ebsco - General database with 4,500 journals including about 3,600 full text.
  • Academic Lexis-Nexis - Chemistry related business news.
  • American Chemical Society (ACS) Resources - Over 20 publications in a variety of chemistry and biochemistry areas.
  • Access Science - Encyclopedia of Science and Technology
  • Chemistry Education - ERIC
  • Wilson Omnifile - Search Wilson using Full Text Select Edition. It is a multidisciplinary, 100% full-text database providing full text articles, with their accompanying indexing and abstracts: Applied Science & Technology,, Biological & Agricultural Index and General Science.
  • PubChem - PubChem provides information on the biological activities of small molecules. It is a component of NIH's Molecular Libraries Roadmap Initiative. PubChem includes substance information, compound structures, and bioactivity data in three primary databases, PCSubstance, PCCompound, and PCBioAssay, respectively.
