Periodical Databases     All databases are listed alphabetically on Reed Library's home page under Database Searching. Both databases listed below will indicate what is available online in fulltext or available in print/ paper in Reed Library's periodical collection. If we don't have an article available, you can get it with 4-7 days through Interlibrary Loan. You can also find the link to Interlibrary Loan on the top menu banner on all Reed Library Web pages.
You can search any EBSCO databases together at the same time by selecting EBSCO from the Database Searching list and the checking the databases. Be warned that this will disable some of the search features such as limiters and the thesaurus since these are designed for each database. For this reason, you may want to start your search in an individual database and then search it later in additional databases after saving and retrieving the search.
            1. Business Source Premier (EBSCO) - This database is the usually the first place to search any topic specifically related to all aspects of business. Many, but not all of the sources are available in full text/ pdf format directly online through a link.
            2. PsycInfo (EBSCO) - Because marketing research is closely related to methods in the behavioral sciences, particularly psychology, it is important to include the literature in the area of psychology when reviewing research methods and concepts used by others. Journal of Consumer Psychology and Psychology and Marketing are two of many journals that are specifically related to research in psychology as applied to marketing. Other psychology journals include interdisciplinary topics. As well, PsycInfo indexes articles relervant to psychology in more general business journals. For this reason, many researchers do well searching PsycInfo first and then supplementing their research with Business Source. PsycInfo includes links to full text in Business Source, as well as having links to other journals.
            3. Online Periodicals - For all periodicals available online in full text through Reed Library, you can browse this database by title or by broad subject such as Marketing and Purchasing. If you have the title of a periodical, usually with the full citation, don't forget to search our Library Catalog for what is in the Reed Library print collection.

Be sure to visit the Reference Desk in the Library if you have any questions or need a refresher on searching or, really, anything! We are there most hours the library is open.
